To all the artist
Everytime I speak to an artist I see the struggle. The Struggle of not having a sleep in weeks and later hearing that living on instant soup in order to have money to buy paint. Having the ability to express such beauty while we live in such despair.
This myth is reason number 1 (the most important one) why parents advice their kids not to study art because they've seen bad examples
of artists struggling financially or living in poor conditions as a result of pursuing their art.
I came up with this concept where how we artists are forced to switch our jobs by getting so called "real life jobs" and to basically show their inner moods and heaviness they carry with themselves because of the agony they have.

Looking for the artist
A few months ago Pretika found a piece of exquisite art in a trash can, a painting made of butterfly wings, depicting a bird. Filled with wonder, she cleaned it and took it home.
“Moving away from city life has been a recalibration that brought me back into the present, grounding me with the earth.
Since finding the painting. I’ve found myself in unusual, magical situations. Hence the title ‘Looking for the artist’ is more than just a search for the art work’s creator, it’s a search for the earth’s manifested.
After living in Goa for a few months I realised the importance of creating a balance between art and living not just
existing. There is a part of me that wants to write, a part that wants to sculpt, a part that wants to travel... To force myself into a single role, to decide to be just one thing in life would kill off large parts of me. As artists, we are constantly
looking for inspiration and our surrounding environments to often influence our work. For me, it's nature, my biggest inspiration.
